UPSC Prelims 2027 is on 23 May and Mains begins on 20 August. Once January ends, most aspirants switch to Prelims and answer writing stops for four months. This programme puts all of the Mains writing, testing and feedback in the four months before that switch, so after Prelims you revise answers you have already written and had corrected.

When is UPSC Mains 2027?

UPSC's calendar for 2027 lists the Civil Services Prelims on 23 May 2027 and the Mains from 20 August 2027. Mains Ready by December finishes GS1-4 by 25 December 2026 and the full-length tests by 27 January 2027, so your Mains answer writing is done before Prelims preparation takes over.

The batch started on 15 September. Can I still join?

Yes. Everything released so far, including capsules, daily questions and sectional tests, unlocks the day you join. Earlier sectional tests can still be submitted and are evaluated. A practical way to catch up is to write the current subject with the batch and clear the earlier tests on weekends.

How are the sectional tests evaluated?

You download the question paper and answer booklet, write by hand under time, and upload a scan or photos as one PDF or images. An evaluator who scored highly in GS and has appeared for the UPSC interview returns marks, remarks and your annotated copy, usually within 48 hours. The paper is then discussed live, and you review it 1:1 with your mentor.

How does the daily answer writing work?

On each writing day you get three questions on the current subject: a topper-copy question, a previous year question and a new question. Each answer is evaluated by AI in about 3 minutes. Across the programme that is 177 answers over 59 days.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Create a free Aspirants Hub account and you can write and get evaluated on 3 daily answer writing questions at no cost. These are the same questions enrolled students write that day.

What if I miss a live session?

The recording is added to your dashboard within 24 hours.

Does the programme cover my optional subject or include an essay test?

No. It covers GS Papers 1-4 and Essay. Essay is taught through a recorded course with 6 videos and 2 live sessions; there is no essay test. Optional subjects have separate courses.

I already have a Lakshya Mains 2027 or Mains + Prelims 2027 plan. Do I pay the full fee?

No. Lakshya Mains 2027 and Mains + Prelims 2027 students get a lower price. Log in and the reduced price is applied at checkout.

How long can I access the programme?

Until 31 January 2027, after the last full-length test discussion on 27 January.

How do I enroll?
